Salesforce has announced the expansion of its Hyperforce platform services in Indonesia, enhancing its support for data residency and regulatory compliance. The update includes the availability of Data Cloud, Agentforce, Tableau Next, Tableau Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Next in the country.
Initially launched in Indonesia in 2023, Hyperforce is Salesforceโs next-generation cloud infrastructure. It enables businesses to store data locally, an important factor for organisations in heavily regulated industries such as government, financial services, and telecommunications. This move is also expected to support the regionโs fast-growing AI sector, which could reach a value of US$366 billion.
Supporting compliance and scalability
Hyperforce allows Salesforce applications and data to be hosted within national borders, helping businesses comply with evolving data privacy laws while improving security and customer trust. Unlike traditional infrastructure, Hyperforce is built entirely in code, enabling the rapid delivery of the Salesforce Platform, Agentforce, and Customer 360 Apps to different markets.
โHyperforce not only strengthens businessesโ ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments with confidence, it also helps lay the foundation for a trusted, agile, and scalable digital ecosystem as organisations start to implement Agentforce across their business,โ said Arun Kumar Parameswaran, Executive Vice President & Managing Director, South Asia, Salesforce.
Designed for global and regional enterprises, Hyperforce also ensures that services remain resilient and sustainable. It operates on 100% renewable energy and supports net-zero carbon emissions goals. The architecture is secure by default, incorporating zero-trust principles, encrypted data protection, and built-in compliance capabilities. Mission-critical services are spread across multiple zones to ensure reliability and business continuity.
Introducing Agentforce and AI-powered services
As demand for agentic AI grows, Indonesian customers can now access Agentforce, Salesforceโs platform layer for deploying autonomous AI agents across various business functions. Agentforce includes tools to build and customise agents as well as a library of ready-to-use skills tailored for use in sales, service, marketing, commerce, Tableau, Slack, and partner applications. These agents are designed to operate independently, reducing the need for human oversight while improving efficiency across workflows and processes.
Alongside Agentforce, the expansion also introduces Data Cloud, which serves as the unified data foundation powering Salesforce applications. Data Cloud connects structured and unstructured data from any source, harmonising it into customer profiles that drive every automation, insight, and agent action.
Marketing Cloud Next also becomes available, delivering agentic marketing capabilities on the Salesforce Platform. It enables cross-departmental workflows, actionable insights, and embedded AI agents throughout the customer journey to improve scale, speed, and outcomes.
Enhancing data-driven decision-making with Tableau
Salesforce is also bringing its latest analytics offerings to Indonesia with Tableau Next and Tableau Cloud. Tableau Next evolves traditional business intelligence into an agentic analytics platform built natively on the Salesforce Platform and powered by Data Cloud. It delivers high performance, secure operations, and seamless data connectivity through zero-copy integration.
Tableau Cloud, the cloud-based analytics counterpart, is designed to support organisations in their digital transformation by offering tools for data preparation, visualisation, collaboration, and distribution. The platform aims to make analytics accessible to users at every level of the organisation, fostering a stronger data-driven culture.
Salesforce believes that with the expanded availability of Hyperforce and its AI-powered solutions in Indonesia, local enterprises will have more flexibility, compliance confidence, and the tools needed to drive business transformation.
